Getting started

Open Ruah, choose Create room (방 만들기), enter a room title and nickname, and tap Open room (새 휘발성 방 열기). Tap Issue invitation (키 인증 초대 발급), copy it (클립보드에 복사) and share it with one person. They choose Join with ticket (티켓 입장), paste it, enter a nickname and tap Join (티켓 사용하고 입장) while you keep Ruah open. Each invitation works once and expires after 24 hours.

Why my room disappeared

Ruah keeps rooms, keys and messages only in memory. Leaving the app, locking the screen, closing the app or losing the connection ends your session, and nothing can be restored. A new participant can join only while the host is online.

Safety and abuse

The host can remove a participant by selecting them and choosing Remove member (선택 멤버 내보내기). Anyone can leave a room at any time. To report abuse, email us with the time and a description. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and not stored, so we cannot read or recover them, but we can revoke tickets and terminate rooms. Never include passwords or invitations in email.
